There are three different types of membership.

1. SHOA

Somerset Homeowners’ Association (SHOA) membership gives you the right to vote on any issues affecting the community, to participate in all members-only social activities, and is a prerequisite for membership in the Somerset Swim and Tennis Club.

In addition to demonstrating your commitment to your community the full list of SHOA benefits is listed below.

  • Voting Rights
  • Ability to rent the clubhouse
  • Ability to participate in Social Events
  • Lake privileges
  • Access to Lot
  • Ability to add swim/tennis to your membership
  • Ability to serve on the SHOA board
*Provided the household was in good standing from the prior year. If not in good standing, a reinstatement fee will need to be paid.

2. SHOA + Swim/Tennis

Residents wishing to use the amenities in Somerset must be SHOA members. Swim/Tennis membership dues can be paid at any time during the year, as long as SHOA membership is current. Swim/Tennis membership gains you access to

  • Swimming Pool
  • Tennis Courts
  • Ability to rent the Clubhouse at a reduced rate

Membership dues are $400 (in addition to required HOA dues) annually

3. Non-Resident Swim/Tennis Member

Non-Somerset residents may become a member of the Somerset community and use the amenities for an annual fee of $500 per year. Non-resident members have the same privileges as Swim/Tennis Members.
