Tennis/Pickleball Rules
- Courts may be reserved up to one week in advance by swim/tennis members. The following time limits apply:
- Doubles: 2 hours
- Singles: 1 1/2 hours
- No family may occupy both tennis courts.
- Tennis Court #1 (Pickleball courts 3 & 4) is the primary court for tennis. Pickleball courts 3 and 4 can be booked the day of if not already reserved for tennis.
- Tennis Court #2 (Pickleball courts 1&2) is the primary court for pickleball.
- Children under the age of 12 are not allowed on the courts unless accompanied by their parent(s) or tennis professional.
- Parents are responsible for ensuring that their children (18 and under) do not use the tennis courts as a playground or hang-out while they are visiting the pool or at any other time. Only tennis players should have access to the courts.
- No glass, food, bikes, rollerblades or skates, skateboards, big wheels, or other toys are allowed inside the fence.
- No animals are allowed inside the tennis area.
- Each player is responsible for cleaning the area after use, placing all trash in the receptacles provided, and locking the gate before leaving.
- Any Somerset Swim/Tennis Club member may bring a guest to play at no cost. Somerset residents that have not joined the swim/tennis unfortunately are not eligible to play on the courts as guests. We ask instead, that they please consider joining swim/tennis if they are interested in using the courts.
- Tennis shoes and appropriate attire are to be worn at all times.
- Proper etiquette should be observed at all time. Please don’t walk onto the courts during an active game play.
